‘Bramboraky’ alias Potato Pancakes is a typical Czech food. As most of the classic Czech food, also this dish is quite heavy so I would not recommend it to eat it for dinner.
It’s is very easy and quick to make and you can do it when there is nothing in the house to cook. The ingredients are simple and for sure you always have them at home.
What do you need (for 4 people) :
– 1kg of potatos
– 2 eggs
– 4 big spoons of flour
– 4 garlic cloves
– salt and pepper
– approx 4 big spoons of majordam
– oil to fry
Peel and wash the potatos, grate them and drain off all liquid. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix them all.
Heat oil and cook each pancake from both sides approx 3 min until browned and crisp.
And now you just enjoy! 🙂
