Where to eat Pork Ribs in Amsterdam

Each person is different, but sometimes I just can’t get rid of the feeling that I have to eat one specific thing. If the same happens to you, we are on the same board?.
During the last couple of weeks, that ONE thing was Pork Ribs!
We were searching where to get pork ribs which will satisfy our needs.
And we found a great place!
Don´t take us wrong, many restaurants in Amsterdam offer pork ribs on their menus but unfortunately, many times the taste is not so good usually due to a lot of BBQ sauce or due to the low quality of the meat (yes, there is also a good quality pork meat?).
Searching for the great place, we found restaurant Pigs and Punch located in the city centre of Amsterdam.
Here we would like to share our experience with this restaurant.
As per the name, the restaurant is focused only on pork meat with nice and modern decoration inside. There are two floors, the first floor is open space with a kitchen in the middle and the second floor is mainly for the bar.
The menu is quite short (which makes it easy?mainly with pork dishes with very few options with fish.
If you are vegetarian, we would definitely not recommend this place (sorry ?)
As a starter, we ordered Padron Peppers and Bacon Popcorn. We thought that bacon popcorn will be something more sophisticated than just popcorn with pieces of bacon so we would probably not recommend this dish as we expected something different.
The main dish was Iberico Rib Eye and Pork Ribs with potato waffles and sweet potato fries.
The Rib Eye had a good taste but some parts were quite hard to eat as there was a lot of fat. I guess it will be better if the meat will be cooked more so it will be more tender. So the suggestion will be to ask the guest how much they want to cook the meat as pork steak is not always good when is half raw.
The Pork Ribs were amazing, with delicious taste and perfectly cooked. The sauce was well equilibrated and the meat was just falling off the bones itself.
Overall, if you want to eat Pork Ribs, this is the place for you!
The service was nice, we liked the restaurant decoration and we were satisfied with the meat, for sure we will come back!
