1) Ugot – brunch Barcelona

Ugot, the first restaurant we’re suggesting, is located in the heart of the Eixample neighborhood. This restaurant boasts a vintage decor that reminds us of classic Spanish homes. Inside, they offer a wide selection of homemade pastries and cakes that are simply delightful. Here’s the thing: Ugot has everything you could wish for when searching for a place to enjoy a tasty brunch . The food is excellent and homemade, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. We recommend Ugot if you want to have a great time and relish a delicious brunch in Barcelona with friends or family.

2. Eat my trip– Brunch Barcelona

During our latest visit to this city, which we consider our second home, we went to this brunch restaurant with friends, and honestly, we liked it a lot, both the place and the food.

One of us ordered the famous Guacascramble, while the other went for the Chicken Thai Burger, and both dishes were well-balanced and flavorful.

Our friends’ other dishes were also very delicious (we tried a bit of everything), and moreover, the atmosphere was calm and relaxed yet very functional.

The main branch in Barcelona is located on Consell de Cent Street 378 (Girona metro station), and they have another branch in the Gracia neighborhood (Lesseps metro station), very close to Park Güell, if that’s more convenient for you.

Additionally, after checking their website, we found out that they even have restaurants in Madrid. With that said, we highly recommend that you don’t miss out and go try one of the best brunch spots in Barcelona.

3. Copasetic– Brunch Barcelona

Copasetic is another charming brunch spot in the Eixample neighborhood, in fact, just a few meters from Ugot. For us, perhaps the best brunch destination in Barcelona is here, and we are regulars here.

The menu is centered around flavorful and wholesome dishes (organic beef, free-range chicken, or bluefish), and they also offer a wide variety of options for those with food allergies (gluten), as well as numerous vegetarian or vegan dishes. When it comes to beverages, we can attest to well-balanced cocktails. Copasetic is 100% recommended by us and ranks at the top of our list for where to have brunch in Barcelona.

Tip: They have a system in place where you can contribute 60 cents or 1 euro to provide a coffee or sandwich to those who truly need it, which we find really cool and helpful.

Our tip: When we travel we always make sure to have travel insurance. Our personal recommendation is Truetraveller as they have great support and health coverage around the world. And don’t worry if you forget about it, you can purchase the insurance during your trip!

4. Billy brunch– Brunch Barcelona

A foodie friend once told us, “If you want to try a delicious brunch in Barcelona, look for the little chick, and you won’t regret it.” That’s how we discovered Billy Brunch: by searching for the little chick in their logo.

We quickly realized that over time, everyone began to look for this little chick and appreciate their concept and food, making it one of the most famous brunch spots in the entire city. Their approach is classic, simple, yet tasty, without unnecessary frills or trendy gimmicks that change based on the latest fads or social media influencers.

Recently, thanks to their resounding success, the company expanded so much that they decided to open more establishments in the city of Barcelona, as well as in Seville and Madrid. Who knows where their next opening will be?

Our tip: Try the Chakchouka, it’s the perfect Sunday brunch choice.

You can find the various addresses of Billy Brunch establishments in Barcelona here at this link.

5. Picnic– Brunch Barcelona

Picnic is another gem in this city when it comes to delicious brunch. This establishment is located in the beautiful Born neighborhood, very close to Ciutadella Park and the Chocolate Museum.

If you want to read more about the Chocolate Museum, take a look at our post about hidden places in Barcelona. Pícnic offers an international menu that constantly changes according to the season or the product, while always keeping their must-try classics.

It’s a perfect spot to relish a delightful brunch along with some cocktails. Don’t miss the opportunity to try their dishes, as it’s undoubtedly one of the best brunch spots in Barcelona.

Our tips: the French toast and the smoked braised short ribs served on waffles.

6. La Desayuneria – Brunch Barcelona

The authentic American-style breakfast brought to the city of Barcelona. Apart from bacon, eggs, and sandwiches, La Desayuneria probably serves, in our opinion, the best pancakes in the city.

The first restaurant they opened is located across from the Sant Antoni Market, and in 2018, they opened a second location on Calle Comte D’Urgell 260.

Currently, you’ll also find other branches in different cities (Madrid, Málaga). This place is fantastic because you can enjoy your brunch from morning until late afternoon at nearly all of their establishments.

Tip: We’re going to reveal a secret: both the pancakes and the syrup that accompanies them are homemade.

Take a look at the addresses here:

7. Caravelle– Brunch Barcelona

It’s one of the first brunch places that we remember seeing in Barcelona, and there they are, right in the heart of the city since 2012, offering their customers delicious treats every day.

The owners, Australians, and English, respectively, decided to introduce a very different café concept from what existed in the city.

They state that they were inspired by the approach commonly found in Australian cafés, which is definitely not a bad idea. Over time, they also began producing their own craft beer, which is a big plus for beer enthusiasts like us. If you’re in the city center, search for Pintor Fortuny Street on Google and enjoy one of the most iconic brunch places in the city.

Our Tip:  Wise is a great card when you’re traveling to a country with a different currency than yours or need to control your spending. Through a simple app you can monitor your movements and easily top up your account

8. SOLC at Hotel Majestic– Brunch Barcelona

The gourmet brunch at SOLC in Hotel Majestic is possibly one of the most luxurious and comprehensive brunch offerings in Barcelona. However, keep in mind one thing: unlike the places mentioned earlier, this brunch is not budget-friendly. Despite this, we believe it’s worth trying this experience at least once in a lifetime. It is located in the iconic Hotel Majestic Barcelona, renowned for its luxury and prestige as the first five-star hotel in the city.

The gastronomic concept is led by the acclaimed and award-winning Chef Nandu Jubani, known for his culinary excellence and focus on local ingredients.

In 2018, the Majestic Breakfast Experience was awarded the Best Breakfast in European hotels. The gourmet SOLC brunch is offered every Sunday, so don’t miss the chance to indulge in an extraordinary brunch in Barcelona over the weekend.

Please note that this service might not be available during the month of August.

9. Cecconi’s restaurant (Sunday Feast) – Brunch Barcelona

Another delicious brunch that you definitely shouldn’t miss is also one of the busiest Sunday celebrations in the entire city. We’re talking about the Sunday Feast located within the private club Soho House Barcelona at the acclaimed Italian restaurant Cecconi’s.

If you enjoy a glamorous ambiance, lots of style, and Italian cuisine, this brunch spot in Barcelona is precisely what you’re looking for. Every Sunday, the immense and elongated open kitchen counter is filled with all sorts of food and delights.

Fresh salads, high-quality Italian cheeses, tempting pizzas, freshly sliced cured meats, mouthwatering lasagnas, fresh seafood, juicy meats, and eggs prepared in various ways are just some of the delights this restaurant offers at its Sunday brunch.

Furthermore, a dedicated dessert corner is a must, providing the perfect finishing touch to the meal.
