It’s Time to Discover the Best Burgers in Copenhagen!
Yes, because this city, in addition to being world-renowned for its excellent cuisine and restaurants, offers a wide variety of quality burgers.
I must be honest, it was difficult to choose the best ones for this post.
We’ve tried many places with different options and decided to include some of them that, in our opinion, are worth trying.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, at the end of the post there are some other recommendations for other places, and even if one isn’t a beef burger, I think you should try it.
I’ll leave it as a surprise for the end of the post.
Enjoy reading!

The best burgers in Copenhagen in my opinion, welcome!
POPL BURGER
Ladies and gentlemen, we’re starting strong with a burger that tastes like it’s from a three-Michelin-star restaurant.
Yes, because the owner and creator is none other than René Redzepi, the Chef of the famous Noma restaurant, which has been internationally acclaimed.
This project started as a pop-up during the pandemic, but due to high demand, it became a permanent establishment.
What can I say about this burger?
Everything is well-crafted and thoughtfully designed, it definitely deserves a spot on my list of best burgers in Copenhagen.
I can’t say it’s the best burger I’ve had in Copenhagen or the world, but it’s definitely a delicious bite.
I’ve read many negative reviews about this burger, probably because people expect to eat something on the level of a three-Michelin-star restaurant just because they’re eating a sandwich.
Still, they should consider investing a bit more money if they want to understand what cuisine at that level is all about. It’s definitely much more than just a simple burger.

GASOLINE GRILL
They say that if you come to Copenhagen and don’t try what Gasoline Grill has to offer, you haven’t really tasted a good burger.
It has been rated as one of the best burgers in the world for several consecutive years, so we’re talking about something that’s made right. You can now find Gasoline Grill locations in various spots around the city, even within the airport, but the original spot remains the most iconic.
As the name suggests, it’s located in a gas station, or rather, the small building you typically find at a classic gas station.
What about the burger?
Undoubtedly, it’s one of the best burgers in Copenhagen: juicy, well-seasoned, and with super tender bread.
Even the fries are delicious. Once you see the small space they work in and the consistent quality they maintain, you’ll agree that it’s one of the best burgers in the city.

KRISTINEDAL BURGERS
For those who attend festivals in Denmark, this name is probably not new, as for several years it has offered incredible, high-quality burgers.
However, in 2020, they decided to open a small place in the heart of the city, and they made a great choice. The meat is sublime, with a slight smoky flavor that makes for an incredibly juicy bite, perfect for anyone who loves a well-done burger.
In addition to the flavorful meat, this burger stands out for its rich bread, perfectly made and tender, even bearing the company’s logo.
If you’re looking for a good bite in the city center, Kristinedal Burgers offers one of the best burgers in Copenhagen.

DANDELION BURGER
This establishment is proof that a small, well-executed menu is one of the keys to success.
With only two types of burgers, one made of meat and one vegetarian, crafted with care and love, Dandelion has rightfully earned its spot on the podium of Copenhagen’s best burgers.
The meat they use is of incredible quality. I’ve also read on their website that they add bone marrow to the mix, and whether it’s that ingredient or not, get ready to eat something delicious.
I would come back again and again, and I don’t doubt I’ll do so on my next visit to this city because I know I’ll be having one of the best bites in town.

Extra tips
And now we come to the surprise of this post, despite the fact that I am not talking about beef burgers, these are sensational bites and they deserve me to write about them.
First of all, I am talking about Poulette, which offers a chicken sandwich that will blow your mind.
Like Dandelion, they offer a few products: exactly two, a chicken burger and a tofu burger, and sometimes some special dish. It will not be difficult for you to find the place, because you will see a long queue outside.
I should also mention that it is a bit spicy, so if you do not tolerate it, it is better not to try it and go back to the meat options that I have offered you.

The other one that I wanted to recommend to you is a chain that you can find throughout the city.
It is called Jagger, and even though it is a commercial burger, it is quite well made. I ate it the first night I arrived in Copenhagen, because there was nothing else open and I can tell you that, for being a big chain burger joint, it was well done and I didn’t mind eating it at all.
Another one I could recommend in the city would also be Tommy’s burger joint.
In Iceland it is without a doubt one of the best burgers I have ever eaten, and here in the city of Copenhagen it is no less so.

Conclusions – – Las mejores hamburguesas de Reikiavik
Here we are at the end of this post, where I’ve listed what I (and Mika) consider the best burgers in Copenhagen.
I’d tell you to try them all and let me know which one you like the most. However, if you don’t have much time, now you know where to start for a delicious bite.
I know we’re almost at the goodbyes, but don’t worry, I’m preparing new posts about amazing, juicy burgers I’ve tried around the world.
