Where to find the best ice cream in Amsterdam
Ice cream or gelato, one of the best dessert you can ever find. We just love ice cream and we always try to find the best ice cream everywhere we go.

When we moved to Amsterdam, one of my mission was to find the best ice cream in Amsterdam.
As we arrived in May, the summer was about to start so it was the perfect moment to complete this mission.
I did some research, asked some local people and workmates, and after a while I discovered this delicious ice cream in the city center of Amsterdam.
It was recommended by a colleague and of course, it was an Italian Ice Cream (Gelato).
Currently this ice cream company already has 4 establishments.

Massimo IJsfabriek offers delicious Artesanal Italian Ice cream with traditional flavours but also with many unusual flavours.
I and Mika, we tasted a few different flavours such as Ice cream with coffee and hazelnut and my favourite ricotta with figs.
I also tried the pistachio ice cream, which is by far my favorite choice if the ice cream is homemade and made with good products.
As an Italian (from Sardinia, actually 🙂 ) and also a chef, I like to eat good ice cream whenever I have the craving, and I always make sure to find at least one ice cream shop in every city where we live so I know where to go when we feel like we have to eat it now.
You should also know, that you can take a BIG BOX of Ice Cream at home, which might be dangerous and it won’t last long:)
For Vegan lovers, you can also find Vegan Ice cream and the cones are organic!
