The Best Pizzerias in Prague in 2024: Our Experiences in the Czech capital

Do you feel like eating a good pizza in Prague and you don’t know where to go?

Look no further, here we have the list of the best pizza in Prague!

As you might know, part of the Fun Food Travelling team is from Prague, and although we don’t live permanently there, we usually spend a few weeks in this beautiful city every year. During this time, we like to try the incredible and rich Czech food, but not only that.

Prague is a great place for food lovers since nowadays, you can find all types of cuisines from Vietnamese, Mexican to Italian food like pizza and pasta. Mika’s hometown is becoming more and more cosmopolitan every year and has more quality restaurants. In our ‘food search’, Italian dishes clearly come into play, and pizza is no exception.

In this post, we write about which, according to us, are the best restaurants offering delicious pizza in Prague. Remember that I am Italian and like all Italians (clearly) we are very demanding when it comes to pizza, hahaha!

Here are the best pizzas in Prague, which we all tasted and truly recommend:

NAPOLETANA – ORIGINAL PIZZA

Light as a cloud, made with quality ingredients, and prepared precisely according to Neapolitan tradition, with a very hot oven and cooked for a short time. This pizza in Prague was, for me, a hidden gem until recently.

Nevertheless, because I am kind-hearted, and the pizza is too, I have decided to share it with the world through this post because such a good pizza deserves to be tasted. Whether you live here or you are on vacation in Prague, I assure you it’s worth a visit.

So, grab your map (we have a map below with all the best pizza places in Prague) and enjoy your evening eating an incredible pizza in Prague.

PIZZA GATTO NERO – Best Pizza Praga

Restaurants in the capital of the Czech Republic are popping up like mushrooms. Nevertheless, if they were all like this pizzeria, we hope they quadruple in no time. Gatto Nero pizzeria is one of the new pizzerias in Prague (2024) that is worth visiting, both for its delicious pizza and the quality of the ingredients they use.

We spoke with one of the owners, and he told us that their idea is to improve their pizza day by day, and if they have already achieved these final results, we can’t wait to come back again and again.

What’s better than an evening in Prague with a good pizza and a tasty glass of Czech beer (oops, actually, it’s Italian)? Hahaha!

 PIZZA NUOVA -Best Pizza Prague

I believe Pizza Nuova needs no introduction, as it has been considered not only one of the best pizzas in Prague for years but also in all of Europe, as confirmed by the list of the 50 best pizza. When you enter this pizzeria, even though it’s in the center of Prague, you feel a bit of Italian atmosphere, from the beautiful decor to the incredible pizza; everything transports you to beautiful Italy.

The pizza, as you can imagine, is incredibly good and well-executed, making it worth a visit ( probably not only one) to this restaurant. If you’re unsure what to choose, you can opt in for the tasting menu that offers the best of the house, an authentic delight for your palate.
