1. BACKHYUSBreakfast in Amsterdam

The first one we recommend is called Backhyus, and it has been one of the best discoveries of our entire life there.

The venue is large and spacious, with the addition of a beautiful outdoor terrace. Here, you can find many different options for your breakfast or quick lunch in Amsterdam.

Inside, you can find a section with freshly baked bread, a French pastry area, pizzas, and even a corner with salads and sandwiches to enjoy for lunch or in the late afternoon.

Everything is prepared in an open and well-visible workspace for the customer.

It’s definitely one of the best places to have breakfast or brunch in Amsterdam.

2. BAR BOUWMEESTER – Breakfast in Amsterdam

We stumbled upon this place by chance because it turned out to be just a stone’s throw from our home, and it was a genuine surprise.

Everything is insanely good and made with love and professionalism, from the Dutch apple pie to the coffee. We are still looking for a ham and cheese that can compete with the one at Bar Bouwmeester, which is incredible!

This time, fortunately, we found one of the best places for breakfast in Amsterdam near our home, and we hope it can be yours too!

We’ve written a whole article about this place, which in our opinion, offers one of the best croissants you can find in the city.
