After a lot of testing lunch and dinner in some of the best Italian restaurants in Amsterdam, we finally said that….
We found it, or better yet, we found three places that make the best pasta dishes in Amsterdam
1.SPAGHETTERIAPasta Amsterdam
With a name like that, it couldn’t be anything other than one of the best places to enjoy a plate of pasta in Amsterdam.
As of 2023, there are 8 restaurants in Amsterdam, a few in Utrecht, and several more in Rotterdam and Berlin.
For convenience, we always visit the one in Pijp.
The concept is simple: they offer 5-6 different types of pasta dishes, expertly crafted, which change periodically depending on the seasons or the availability of fresh ingredients. While you can order extra salads if you’d like to precede your pasta dish, there are no starters or other options aside from the pasta, except for some simple desserts like tiramisu.
They only focus on pasta, so we strongly recommend it when you feel like eating fresh pasta in Amsterdam.

2. PASTAI – Pasta Amsterdam
Another gem in the heart of this city is the restaurant Pastai, which, in our opinion, offers the best pasta dishes you can find in Amsterdam.
The concept is equally simple and similar to the one we introduced to you previously, with the addition that here you can find some typical Italian appetizers and a more extensive selection of pasta. Oh, and we almost forgot, the tiramisu is to die for.
There’s no need to mention that, in our view, it’s one of the best Italian restaurants serving exceptional pasta in Amsterdam.
Imagine, dear reader, that we’ve even dedicated an entire article to them. If you’d like to read it, click here!
3.CECCONI’SPasta Amsterdam
The Cecconi’s brand originated in London many years ago, and, over time, thanks to one of the trendiest companies in the international hospitality market, Soho House, it has expanded, bringing Made in Italy and good Italian cuisine to the world.
This expansion includes Amsterdam, where they have established one of the best Italian restaurants in the entire city.
Of course, when we talk about Italian food, we cannot ignore pasta. Thanks to their freshly homemade pasta, such as Garganelli with Bolognese sauce or Agnolotti del Plin with truffle, they rightfully belong on our list of the best restaurants to enjoy pasta in Amsterdam.
Simone worked for this restaurant in its Barcelona location a long time ago, and with his knowledge of the products and raw materials used daily, he assures you that you can find some of the most glamorous pasta in Amsterdam here.
4.Where are they located?– Roasted chicken Amsterdam
