As you may already know, Barcelona is second to none when it comes to gastronomy.
However, many times it can be a jungle where it’s complicated to navigate and figure out which vine to swing on.
That’s why, and also because we are food (and travel) enthusiasts, we occasionally write articles about incredible places to eat. We want to help people avoid culinary disappointments while traveling or simply looking for something new to try.

TRIGO BCN pan y postres –Best bakery Barcelona
The story begins with 3 Italian guys. One from the north of Italy, one from the center, and the other from the south opened a bakery in Barcelona.
It might seem quite funny. However, these three Italian guys got together, shared their ideas, and opened a new café and bakery in Barcelona named TRIGO BCN pan y postres.
Anyway, life and dreams go as they go, and currently, only one of the three oversees this project, but with the same passion and care as always.
However, even if we don’t live in Barcelona at the moment, we often come back to say hello to friends (the second family), and we always pop in here. Trust us, in 12 years of living here and many return trips, we have tried many bakeries in Barcelona and this one ticks all the boxes to be your new favorite bakery.
Sorry if we repeat ourselves, but for us, it is the best bakery in Barcelona.
We want to clarify that this is not a promotion or sponsored post.
TRIGO BCN Location – Best bakery Barcelona

The perfect spot which is very close to the Rambla Poble Nou and 5 minutes walk from the beach.

TRIGO OFFERBest Bakery Barcelona
Of course, being a bakery, they offer homemade bread and pastries, but (there’s always a “but” in our recommendations 😉 ), they also offer many other things, like focaccias, panuozzi, and other culinary delights that you would normally find in beautiful Italy.
Salty Products
They offer all kinds of savory products made exclusively with whole wheat and multigrain flour. For your perfect breakfast or quick lunch in Barcelona, you will find delicious pizzas, calzones, stuffed focaccia, and other Italian and Campania delicacies that will make your mouth water just looking at them in this bakery in Barcelona. It’s worth mentioning that some of their ingredients come from small Italian producers, making the final result even more interesting and delicious.
Sweet/Dessert Products
The sweets and desserts are equally spectacular, with croissants, cakes, and other sweets that make even the most sweet-hating person want to bite into them.
In this case, you can also find sweets and products coming from the magical Italian recipe book and, in particular, from the Campania region. On our last visit, we tried the famous Caprese cake, which transported us for a moment to beautiful Naples, but in the end, we were clearly in one of the best bakeries in Barcelona.
Vegan Friendly Barcelona
We must say that in this bakery, they have made sure to offer vegan products and be a vegan-friendly restaurant in Barcelona.
Yes, it is true that there are currently plenty of vegan restaurants in Barcelona, but do you want to try quality vegan products with an unmistakable and tasty Italian touch?
Trigo is definitely what you are looking for, one of the best bakeries in Barcelona that also creates delicious vegan products.
What more do you want from life? We honestly have nothing :-).
The beauty of this place definitely lies in the fact that everyone can enjoy their delicious biscuits, pizzas, stuffed sandwiches, or individual desserts made with love and dedication by people who want to offer the best to their customers.
So if you are vegan, and you are looking for the best breakfast in Barcelona, or simply a vegan-friendly bakery, TRIGO should be on your list.
